Quennell - 1 Viewing The smallest island of those in Fanchon Lake. It is a miniature forest filled with coniferous trees, contrary to its name meaning "oak tree." This island is crowded with trees and the ground is covered with needles, making this island nearly impossible to truly live on, but it is a good stepping stone to the other, larger islands. |

Khalida Khalida is the largest island of the three. It is a safe-haven and definitely a place for horses to live and survive. There is a scattering of trees, but not nearly as much as Quennell, but not quite as little as Eshkoll. This is the place that horses live if they make the trip to the islands. It is able to support many lives, but not just equine. Wolves are the main predator here, able to swim from the mainland to the islands with ease. |

Eshkoll Eshkoll is the second biggest island. It is just open and flat, covered mostly in sand and sparse grasses and shrubs. From Eshkoll you can see straight across the rest of the lake to the rest of the Eastlands, but it is also the furthest from the rest of the mainland. It is nearly certain death to swim from Eshkoll to the shore. |
