Rhett
The copper and white colored stallion sighed deeply; it as a sigh of contentment and relief. It wasn’t how, not quite yet anyways, but he still needed the much welcomed relief that the water provided. The sunshine was a nice break from all the storms and rain, but even he was growing tired of the rare bit of sunshine. The stallion putted around in the water for quite some time, letting the water carry him a considerable distance downstream before he finally decided that he had had enough and it was time to get out. Paddling his way to the shore, he clambered up with some ease. Once on shore, he shook his entire frame violently to send the excess water flying from his two-toned coat. His flaxen colored mane clung to the sides of his thick neck, while his flaxen colored forelock plastered itself down the middle of his white face.
The stallion’s sky colored eyes combed the landscape as he pondered his next move. He had heard the whispers in the wind that several stallions had already claimed homes for themselves and any mares that followed them. Could he do that, though? He knew there were still a few lands still untouched by any stallion and was waiting to be claimed. Could he even cut it out as a ruler? The stallion frowned slightly as his ears laid back. Perhaps he could, but it was all up to the goddesses and god to decide if he was worthy of such a thing. All he needed was a sign, from any of the divine creatures they all worshipped; a sign in the form of a mare, perhaps, who would be willing to join him on his quest. It was a rather large wish to ask from the divine creatures, he knew that. If they answered his wish, then he was truly blessed.

Aylette Has Come to Visit! Someone's caught the goddess' eye! Rhett's respectful thoughts of the gods have made her take notice. As he dries off from his midday swim, the wind picks up, carrying his strong, wet horse smell all the way downstream. If any mares are nearby to scent him, they very well may come running. Additionally, the gust has blown the scents of those upstream of the stallion to him, so if any mares are north of him, he may be able to sniff them out. Aylette has certainly made an attempt to aid this stallion in his endeavors!
