Time to visit the islands, is it? Or are you leaving them? Well that's fine and dandy, but there is a journey that must be completed in order for your character to find themselves on the sunny shores of the islands or on the shores of the lake.
Now that you've decided to make your way across, you must pay your dues to Acheron. He requires an account of your journey, and it had better be a fair job.
In order to survive the crossing of the Narrows, you must write an in-character post of your character actually crossing the Narrows. Be sure to include the setting (high tide is in the morning and evening, but be careful of when the darkness comes) and your character's motivation for crossing. Once you have posted, Acheron will judge your post. He will take into account your character's health, the time of day and the time of year (winter waters can freeze a horse) as well as your overall writing and mechanics (spelling, punctuation and grammar). Rambling, posts with no reason at all for crossing and posts with other fairly bad errors may be allowed to cross with injuries to your character, or they may be rejected altogether.
